Should i accept the facebook request?

I've been friends with him for 2 years, and he's been acting like this since around this time last year and my friend said that he likes me .Well, today he sent me a facebook relationship request saying that i'm his girlfriend, i just want some opinions, should i accept it. He likes to hold me, and we hug and we hold hands . We always sit next to each other . He's called cute before and he said that he "may" like me too . He's said that he loves me too, but my friend is telling us to just go out and we basically go out and all that stuff . He only treats me like this, and we're best friends too. Well, the question is that are we "unofficially" dating & should i accept the relationship request ? Thanks (:
