How do i make my fiance/daughters dad feel more involved in our life?

I am 15, and i had my daughter 6 months ago and im living with my newly adoptive family (of me). My daughter's father and i are now (unofficially) engaged, and i just want to know how i can help keep him more involved, beings that we cant legally live together or get married for quite a while..
