Election commission or torture commission?

Election commission in Tamilnadu is torturing the state govt Revenue/Administration staff & teachers with out giving weekly holidays. It is unofficially forcing the staff to work more than 8 hours some times even at the nights till the morning. All officers/staff are in tension. There is shortage of staff and funds. It is extracting more work with out any extra pay, endangering the physical & mental health of staff. It is totally ill planned. Is it possible to take any legal action against it? Why the associations are not taking any legal action? I accept that EC should strict. But not in this way like sucking blood of staff. Human rights?
